Children & Youth
Bible classes, games, and age-appropriate teaching for kids from nursery through high school.
An Independent Baptist family on Airport Road in Waterford, Michigan — preaching the Bible, raising children, and welcoming neighbors in English and Spanish for more than fifty years.

A word of welcome
Lakecrest Baptist is a family. Some of us were saved here as children; some walked in last Sunday and stayed. The doors are open, the coffee is on, and the preaching is straight out of the Bible.
If you’re looking for a church that takes Scripture seriously and still feels warm and unhurried — come visit. We hold services in English and Spanish, and there’s a class or ministry here for every age.
— Pastor Dail and the Lakecrest family

Meet our pastor
Pastor Kevin Dail shepherds the Lakecrest family with patience, plain preaching from the King James Bible, and a deep love for the people of Waterford. Alongside his wife, he leads a church that takes Scripture seriously and still feels like home.
If you have a question about the Bible, the gospel, or what membership at Lakecrest looks like, he would love to sit down with you. You can reach the church office to set up a time — there is no pressure and no agenda but yours.

The Great Commission
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.”Matthew 28 · 19
We baptize by immersion, the way the early church did — picturing being buried with Christ and raised to a new life (Romans 6:4). If that is a step you are ready to take, we would love to walk it with you.
Gather with us
Come as you are. Sunday clothes are welcome but never expected — most folks dress casually.
